Sharon Mathew

As someone with a keen interest in the field of finance, coupled with my desire to help people, I decided to get into the Wealth Management industry. I get to experience the best of both worlds by helping deliver a person’s financial dreams. I am also a tech geek and in a world which revolves around Big Data, I was able to work as a Data Analyst Trainee in a company where I gained an in-depth knowledge in data mining and data visualization. My experience helped me sharpen my analytical and presentation skills which I believe are extremely important in Wealth Management.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a graduate certificate in Financial Planning from Seneca College, where I was a junior executive member of their School of Accounting and Financial Services club, SLAFS. I also had the opportunity to represent Seneca for the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners (CIFP) Eastern Regional Case Competition 2019. I am currently completing my Masters in Finance and Technology at the Queen’s Smith School of Business while completing my Chartered Investment Manager designation which can help deepen my knowledge and help serve clients better.

Being new to Toronto, I love exploring the city and trying out new eateries to satisfy the insatiable foodie within me. Growing up in the Middle East, my life revolved around soccer, other than being a die-hard F.C Barcelona fan, I also love playing soccer during my spare time. I also help out in my local church with various activities and have also volunteered with Seneca Serves and Operation Christmas Child, helping give back to the community.
