Jennifer Nicomedez

Having 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and 2 years in taxation, I dedicated myself in helping business owners and taxpayers in giving informative advice for short-term and long-term financial decision plans. Able to provide financial statements accurately and timely gives business owners peace of mind and more time to concentrate on running their business. I am always looking for ways to improve the financial processes. As a result, this helps me build trusting and ongoing relationships.

My path to becoming a bookkeeper became clear in 2007 when I volunteered at VBC Income Tax and Accounting Services while attending Ryerson University for an accounting degree and working part-time in retail. During these times, I realized that I love to help others and value long-term relationships with clients/customers and colleagues. Working in the retail industry for over 10 years, helped me enhance this by delivering outstanding customer service by handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and patiently to minimize customer dissatisfaction and increase customer loyalty. As well as working in a team that inspires each other to reach a common goal.

I graduated at Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting major. I also attained my certifications for Income Tax Preparation Level 1 & 2 from H&R Block Inc. I am planning on completing CPA and CPB designation as well as completing level 3-5 of Income Tax Preparation in the next few years.

I joined the CIBC Run for the Cure to support breast cancer research and to help change the future of breast cancer. Able to help those in our community who have been affected by breast cancer and to ensure that they do not have to face breast cancer alone.

During my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also like reading, watching sports and documentaries, hiking, and biking.
